I have decided that I need a place to ramble about law school, and that while posting on facebook does serve this purpose, most of my friends and family would rather not hear about cases I have read or things I have learned...

That said law school is quite different from undergraduate, it is an experience that is rather hard to prepare for even when you have some idea of just what awaits you. The professors do not necessarily teach [at least not like in undergrad], and are quite willing to let the class struggle for over an hour trying to define a term [such as intent]. You can go to class and think that you understood the material you read, only to discover that you can not explain a concept to the satisfaction of the professor... I try not to think about the final exam during these times as doing so only serves to depress me.
